Delete Account Policy

Learn how to delete your Petoye account and understand what happens to your data when you do.

Overview

At Petoye, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request to delete your account at any time. This page explains the process, what data will be removed, and how to initiate the request.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account using either of the following methods:

Method 1: Delete from the App

Open the Petoye app and log in to your account

Navigate to Settings from the menu

Tap on "Account" or "Privacy Settings"

Select "Delete My Account"

Confirm the deletion when prompted

Method 2: Request via Email

Send a deletion request to info@petoye.com with the following details:

  • Your registered email address
  • Your username or account ID
  • Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"

Our team will process your request within 7 business days.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:

Your profile and personal information
Pet profiles you created
Posts, photos, and videos
Messages and chat history
Marketplace listings
Competition entries and history
Followers and following data
App preferences and settings

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
  • Some data may be retained for legal or regulatory compliance purposes for a limited period.
  • If you have active marketplace transactions, please complete or cancel them before requesting deletion.
